Weight loss tips:
1. Plan your daily intake ahead of time.
It will help you from going over your daily limits.
2. Pack food with you when you’re away from home.
Eating out is tricky. This helps reassure that you have healthy options and won’t be forced to eat high-caloric restaurant food.
3. Carry a bottle of water with you at all times.
You will mindlessly drink more than you realize. Which helps flush out toxins, and keeps you full.
4. Stick to the outside isles when grocery shopping.
Eat fresh!
5. Buy goal-sized clothing for motivation.
Try it on every once in awhile. It’ll feel really satisfactory when it’s getting closer and closer to fitting.
6. Finish eating in the early evening.
That way everything is digested before you go to bed.
7. Do some form of cardio 5 days/week.
Cardio is the best way to burn fat. It’ll help make you lean.
8. Never eat in front of the computer or TV.
This will lead to mindless eating and you will consume more than you realize. It’ll also leave you less satisfied if you aren’t paying attention to what you’re eating.
9. Bake or broil your meats.
It helps keep in the nutrients and doesn’t require high-caloric oils.
10. Regular Greek yogurt is a fantastic substitute for sour cream.
I use Greek all the time. I buy a big tub of Dannon Greek and make ranch dip with it all the time.
11. Use an online calorie counting site (I use livestrong.com).
And be obsessive about it.
12. Maximize your protein intake.
It’ll keep you from losing muscle.
13. Eat small meals every 2-3 hours.
Very important. This will keep your metabolism working all the time.
14. Buy workout clothes.
You’re going to feel like you have to use them, and it makes working out funner. :-P
15. Work “treats” into your daily calories every other day.
This is more of a personal thing that helps me out alot. If I work some WW ice-cream or like a cookie into my diet every other day, it helps me not binge.
